Today I got to go over to the actual Children's Hospital (I've been working in the office other than that) and see one of the Touch Dogs the hospital has volunteers walk around. His name is Brody and he is a golden retriever. He was so sweet and happy! The dogs go around the hospital and visit with the kids. They learn to curl up next to kids in their beds. The volunteers have cards for each dog so the kids who see them can collect the dogs cards (like trading cards!)
It is a very cute idea and the kids at the hospital love seeing the dogs!
After that I came back to the office. Kay and I stuffed tons of envelopes for the hospital and put stamps on them. It was pretty boring today but I liked getting to see the doggy!
