Today there were only 4 kids at the nursery; 2 babies and 2 five year olds. We played outside in the morning, but the 3 older kids left about an hour after I got there, so I spent most of my time inside playing and feeding the youngest kid. She was an adorable 5 month old baby who was constantly smiling. In addition, I helped organize the food and switch out the winter/summer clothes that they keep for the kids who come in.
The staff and volunteers have been anxiously waiting for the eggs in the nest on the back door to hatch, and today they did! I would share a picture but my phone is being annoying so I will later!
